Q.) What is included in the cost of website design?

A.) Design and development, functions and elements including navigation, content, text and photos. For more detailed information, fill out our questionaire.

  

Q.) How long will it take to have a site designed?

A.) Time restraints are based on custom graphic design, how many pages needed and the complexity of the site. The time it takes to decide on a design and layout will also be considered. Once the site design and content has been decided and we have received your information, your site could be up and running in a matter of a couple of weeks. Expeditious forwarding of materials on your part will assure timely completion. You will be provided with a time frame of completion once all of your content materials have been received and reviewed and a site plan has been established. You will receive progress updates as work is completed for you to approve, make changes or additions, etc.

  

Q.) Am I able to view and make suggestions for my website during the design phase?

A.) Of course! In fact, we want your input and encourage it. We will work closely with you during the design phase to create the website you invision based on your input.

  

Q.) Does it matter that I live in another state from where you are located?

A.) Not at all, we have clients across the United States and can accomodate internationally as well. The internet allows us to conduct the majority of our busines online via e-mail, and everyone is also just a phone call or e-mail away. It allows us to offer faster services and customer service response time. With the power of the Web no distance is out of reach. The same will hold true with the operation of your website, the world will be at your front door.

  

Q.) What is site maintenance?

A.) Maintenance includes, but is not limited to keeping your site up to date for browser compatabillity. Keeping your host files clear of any unused files and material for optimal space and bandwidth allowing faster loading pages and a higher percentage rate of up time. Site maintenance fees are charged and billed annually and should not to be confused with Internet Service Provider fees (your sites www address) or Domain Name Registration fees.

Maintenance is revising outdated information on existing pages. Updating is adding information or pictures to pages. Changes made to custom graphics, changing the style or look of the site, are not considered maintenance but rather is considered redesign. (i.e. changing backgrounds, graphics, etc.) Adding pages to a website is not considered maintenance. Adding pages is billed at the regular fee for additional pages.

  

Q.) What does copyright mean?

A.) When graphics or artwork including but not limited to logos, product brands, a website design and the like are created by a Graphic/Web Designer, their work is automatically copyrighted. Meaning it belongs to the author, not to the site owner. Copyright laws grant the creator the exclusive right to reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute, perform and display the work publicly. More information on copyright.
